What is Erbium Laser ?
The Erbium laser emits a wavelength of 2940 nanometres (nm). This laser wavelength is primarily attracted to the water in the skin. This attraction to water causes controlled ablation of a very fine layer of skin. This laser can therefore be used to resurface the skin and help to reduce wrinkles, acne scarring, and pigmentation. The laser can also be used to remove various skin lesions (skin lumps and bumps).
The Erbium Laser removes fine layers of skin through vapourisation. The skin then resurfaces itself over several days, promoting the growth of new, healthy skin cells and stimulating the repair and renewal of collagen. This results in skin tightening and smoothing.
The Erbium Laser can be used to treat:

RECOVERY TIME
The healing process following erbium laser skin resurfacing usually takes between 7 to 10 days, after which the skin typically recovers sufficiently. Makeup can be safely applied after about 14 days.
